Step 1: Make sure you have an extra sturdy nail file to assist you soak off dip and acrylic nails because it can take some time. Start by filing away as much OPI Powder Perfection as you can without reaching your natural nail.
Rule of thumb: Always look for color! In lieu of a 240 grit or higher, we advise using a 180 file grit if you have one. The finer the file, the greater the grit. Simply said, filing down the product may take longer than expected. Use whatever file you have, but only if you really must. Avoid filing the nail down to the natural nail.
Step 2: Clear away any filing dust, fully wet a cotton ball in an acetone-based nail paint remover, and then set it on top of the nail. Finally, wrap the cotton ball and nail with a square of foil.
Step 3: Soak nails for at least 20 to 25 minutes. To improve penetration, provide heat by encircling hands in a towel. Just make sure you’ve already started watching your preferred Netflix series because using a controller while wearing foil gloves is challenging.
Step 4: It should be taken off after 20 to 25 minutes have passed. Start by delicately twisting and pushing the foil and cotton off of only one nail.
Step 5: There should be a sticky residue on the cotton ball or pad; however, if there is any residue still on the nail, use your file to carefully roll the sticky dip/acrylic residue off the nail. On the remaining fingers, repeat this action.
Step 6: After the last bit of residue has been completely eliminated, lightly wipe the nail surface with a cotton ball (or pad) dipped in nail polish remover.
Step 7: Use a buffer block to lightly buff your nails. Next, add your preferred cuticle oil and nail strengthener, such as OPI Nail Envy, to keep your nails as healthy as possible.
